Now that my wife and I are settling in to our new home, and there's only a couple more boxes to unpack, I wanted to say how grateful we are for the excellent help and support we received from everyone we came into contact with at Battens.

Jim and I just wanted to thank you for all the help and advice you've given us and for managing and seeing the sale through. It has been a pleasure dealing with the team at Chris Batten in Wimborne.

As you know, back in April, we met 6 different local agents to discuss the sale of our parent's house, which was an important decision for us as neither of us lives locally; 6 months later, we are sure we made the right choice; from working with our tenants and bringing local buyers to the party, through to negotiating the final price and managing the sale, things have gone well. Although breaking our last links with Wimborne has been difficult emotionally, we are both very content with our decision and with the outcome.

This is to say thank you to you and all your staff for a completely seamless and successful sale of the property at Hayes Lane. Living 3,500 miles away in Bermuda is not the easiest way of selling a property but you and your staff have made it easy.

When I used to come over to visit my family I always saw your signs everywhere so when I knew the property had to be sold there was no question in my mind as to who should be the agent to do this. You are obviously the number one real estate agent in Wimborne and deservedly so.

My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for all your help in assisting us with our forward purchase.

The whole buying and selling process over the last seven months was a very trying time for all concerned. When our forward purchase was withdrawn from the market just before exchange the feeling of disbelief doesn’t even come close to descript how my wife and I felt at the time.

However, with your help Mr Batten, your professionalism and careful approach to the vendor made all the difference in bringing back the property to the market again. We are now living and enjoying the property and can’t thank you enough for all you did on our behalf!

David and Dennis have always been courteous and would like to thank them for their time in showing us around properties and for making us feel very welcome in the process and of course for any dealings with the vendor of or forward purchase.

To get that phone call from someone, to help us feel connected to the whole buying and selling process was indeed paramount to the final outcome. And that someone, was Sue!
