Built for the current owners in 1953 and slightly extended in 1995, Innisfree is traditionally built with facing brick elevations under an asbestos slate ridged roof with a brick chimney. It is connected to mains electricity and water and has private drainage. No gas supply is available. Innisfree is set on a quiet country lane linking the Horton-Ringwood Road with Holt Heath, which is now a National Nature Reserve. The market town of Wimborne Minster, about 6 miles away, offers an excellent range of schools, shops and other amenities, and there is good access to Ringwood and the motorway network. Local shops are available in West Moors and Furzehill.
There is a delightful garden of about a third of an acre which has access to a large field, which could be split into two, plus separate rough grazing on the hilltop at the back of the property. Innisfree has a road frontage of 53m (173ft) with a gated access onto Burts Lane. The paddock has laid hedges and some post-and-wire fencing. The accommodation comprises an entrance hall, living room (with open fireplace,) 3 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Outside, timber double gates lead to the driveway, where there is a detached garage and space for 4 vehicles. The garden is enclosed by mixed hedges and laid to lawn, interspersed with rose and flower beds, camellias and a wide range of shrubs and fruit trees. There is a potting shed and an external conservatory. The front garden is laid to lawn with stone stack borders, flowering cherry and heathers.
