Wimborne is a picturesque market town, with road and rail links to London, rail links are easily accessible from Bournemouth, Poole and Salisbury stations to London Waterloo.
In the east, aromatic pine woodlands border the nationally important heathlands of the New Forest, whilst the valleys of the Stour, Allen and Crane harbour some delightful villages and hamlets.
The coastline at Poole and Bournemouth is about 10 miles distant, with beaches stretching from the world renowned Sandbanks peninsula east beyond Christchurch. Both towns provide further leisure opportunities including theatres, cinemas and night clubs.
To the west and north lie the rolling chalk downlands of Cranborne Chase, once the hunting grounds of Kings and now designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
